Sami Noiri is a Japanese-British Creative Director and Photographer currently based in Tokyo, Japan. He focuses on fashion & beauty work for both business and private assignments.
Sami was given his first camera at the age of 7 and has continued to have an avid relationship with photography ever since. After obtaining a joint International Business degree at the UMIST (UK) and NYU (US), he traveled to Japan to work in luxury brand marketing and advertising for international brands such as shu uemura. dunhill, vivienne westwood, dom perignon, moet&chandon, GAS jeans, to name just a few.
While working for L'Oreal, Sami was involved on the production side of multiple international campaigns for luxury Japanese cosmetics brand shu uemura. Working along side some of the world’s top international beauty photographers and make-up artists, he soon learned to take his own photographic skills to the next level, and focused his assignments to beauty and fashion related photography.
Sami remains to be an anomaly in the industry in that he crossing the boundaries between being a business manager, creative director and photographer.
He is co-director of Cloud Agency in Tokyo, and works closely with fashion, beauty and related brands as both photographer and creative advertising consultant.
